Abhishek worked as a journalist from 2018 to 2021, writing news articles and press releases for various organizations. He is an accredited journalist for the Indian Super League, I-League, and the AIFF, and has also interviewed several Indian international footballers, like Lallianzuala Chhangte, Bipin Singh, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, and tennis players, like Sumit Nagal. After spending four and a half years in the sustainability and supply chain department of a NIFTY500 listed company, he followed his passion in 2025 by starting the sports website 'Sportshadow'.
