Connor Bedard had a goal and three assists and Spencer Knight made 33 saves for his first shutout of the season as the Chicago Blackhawks blanked the host Calgary Flames 4-0 on Friday night.

Tyler Bertuzzi scored two goals and Andre Burakovsky had a goal and an assist for Chicago, which won its second straight game.

It was the sixth career shutout for Knight and his first in parts of two seasons in a Chicago uniform. Knight, who made a season-high 43 saves in a 5-2 victory at Vancouver on Wednesday, has stopped 76 of 78 shots over his past two games.

Dustin Wolf finished with 23 saves for Calgary, which had a two-game win streak snapped. It marked the 10th time in 16 games that the Flames scored two goals or fewer in a contest.

Chicago, playing the fifth game of a season-high six-game road trip, took a 1-0 lead at the 12:32 mark of the first period on a power-play goal by Bertuzzi. Bedard picked up the primary assist to extend his point streak to seven games, whipping a pass from the center of the right circle to Bertuzzi by the back post. The puck then caromed in off Bertuzzi's left skate and into the net.

Bedard and Bertuzzi teamed up again on an odd-man rush 71 seconds into the third period to make it 2-0. Bedard made a crossing pass to Bertuzzi rushing down the left wing, where he slapped a shot past Wolf's blocker side into the top near corner. It was his eighth goal of the season -- five of them coming in the past two games.

The Blackhawks made it 3-0 midway through the third period with Burakovsky finishing a 3-on-1 rush by roofing a wrist shot from the high slot past Wolf's blocker side.

Bedard then picked up his fourth point of the game with 1:59 to go, stealing the puck at the blue line from Morgan Frost and then going in on a breakaway and sweeping a wrist shot around Wolf's left leg.
